Captain America, Team Leader

Commander background
Deck description
Avengers Assemble is a Jeskai (white-blue-red) Hero tribal Commander deck led by Captain America, Team Leader. Each new Hero arrival becomes an immediate threat thanks to haste and vigilance, while +1/+1 counters steadily turn the team into a growing board presence. Legendary payoffs such as Door of Destinies, Metallic Mimic, and Kindred Discovery reinforce that snowball, letting the deck keep deploying names and refilling its hand as it attacks. Games tend to play at a proactive, combat-driven pace: develop a squad, swing early to pressure life totals, then close with a wide battlefield of pumped Heroes or a few towering fliers and double strikers. Interaction is present but not smothering, with efficient spot removal and selective reset buttons like Austere Command and Raise the Palisade to recover from clogged boards or opposing creature swarms. Upgrades naturally lean toward more low-cost Heroes, additional counter synergies, and streamlined mana to keep the team chaining onto the battlefield turn after turn.
