Counter Blitz (FINAL FANTASY X) is a Bant (green-white-blue) counters-and-combat Commander deck led by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian. Tidus shifts counters at the beginning of combat to set up the best attacker or spread value across the team, then rewards successful hits from countered creatures with a card and proliferate. That cadence turns early +1/+1 counters, experience-style growth, and shield counters into a steady snowball, while proliferate amplifies supporting permanents and makes each combat step matter. Games tend to develop at a medium pace: ramp and counter enablers come down early, the board grows wide or tall, and pressure builds through repeated combat damage rather than a single combo finish. Interaction stays respectable with removal, sweepers, and tempo plays, and the deck shows resilience via counter-moving tricks, protection, and rebuilding tools after a reset. Players who enjoy incremental advantages, creature-based engines, and clean upgrade paths into stronger proliferate, counter payoffs, or additional evasive threats will find plenty to tune.
