Commander

Zinnia, Valley's Voice

Commander background
Deck description
Family Matters is a Jeskai (white-blue-red) Commander deck led by Zinnia, Valley's Voice, a flying anthem that rewards swarming the board with creatures that have base power 1. Offspring turns every creature you cast into a potential extra body, letting innocuous value creatures and utility pieces arrive with built-in duplication. That steady accumulation quickly converts into pressure as Zinnia scales up, while go-wide payoffs and burst-damage threats can close games through combat swings that punish tapped-out tables. Gameplay tends to be proactive and board-centric, but it isn’t all-in: blink effects and enter-the-battlefield creatures keep cards flowing, and interaction like Path to Exile, Time Wipe, and Aetherize helps reset opponents who get ahead. The list has decent resilience thanks to token production, recursion, and multiple angles of value, making it comfortable for mid-power pods with plenty of creature combat. Players who enjoy incremental engines and combat math will find natural upgrade paths in cheaper offspring enablers, stronger token payoffs, and more efficient protection for Zinnia.
