Commander background
Deck description
Graveyard Overdrive is a Jund (black-red-green) Commander deck led by Disa the Restless, turning discarded and milled Lhurgoyfs into immediate battlefield presence. Looting and self-mill effects stock the graveyard, then Disa converts those placements into free creatures while combat damage steadily produces Tarmogoyf tokens. The board naturally grows wide and tall at the same time, letting the deck pressure life totals through repeated swings and finish games with burst damage from effects like Chandra’s Ignition or by leveraging big attackers with Kessig Wolf Run. Play tends to be midrange and proactive, with enough interaction to keep opponents honest via spot removal and flexible spells like Maelstrom Pulse, Terminate, and Riveteers Charm. Resilience comes from graveyard value engines such as Eternal Witness, Deadbridge Chant, and Liliana, Death’s Majesty, making it comfortable in longer games after a wipe. Players who enjoy graveyard math, creature combat, and incremental advantage will find easy upgrade paths in stronger self-mill, haste enablers, and more efficient reanimation.
